We’re proud to share that last night, West Chester Mechanical was honored with the Third Annual Project of Excellence Award by the M&SCA of Eastern PA at their Winter Membership Meeting held at Blue Stone Country Club.
This recognition was awarded for our work on the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts – HLB HVAC Replacement Project. It’s a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and craftsmanship that went into making this project a success.
A sincere thank you to everyone involved who helped make this project run smoothly. Special thanks to C. Erickson & Sons, LLC (General Contractor), and IMEG (Mechanical Engineer) for being outstanding partners throughout the process.

"I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional work that has been happening in our shop over the past month. The team has been tackling a series of demanding projects that require not only technical skill but also organization, teamwork, and the ability to adapt as project needs evolve.
A major highlight—and a milestone for our company—was the fabrication of the largest pipe ever produced in West Chester Mechanical’s shop. This achievement represents far more than just a large spool leaving the building. It demonstrates the growing capabilities of our facility, the improved workflow and planning within the shop, and most importantly, the expertise and dedication of the people doing the work.
This project required precise layout and cutting, high-quality fitting and welding, coordinated material handling, and a significant amount of communication between everyone involved. I’m extremely proud of the effort, craftsmanship, and problem-solving shown by the entire team. Achievements like this speak to the strength and capability of our people, and it’s exciting to see how far we’ve come and what we’re now able to take on."
