It is with great pleasure we announce a significant award received by one of our coworkers, Greg Grimminger, who WON FIRST PLACE in the UA’s National Fitter Apprentice Contest in Ann Arbor, MI during ITP Training week for the United Association. Greg placed first in a series of three intense competitions: the State of PA contest, the regional contest in Indianapolis and lastly, he went on to Ann Arbor to compete against other regional winners where he landed the final victory in the Fitter contest. We could not be happier for Greg and his family. This speaks volumes to what a fantastic tradesperson Greg is, and says so much about all the great people at West Chester Mechanical that he has been working with, learning from, and being mentored by.
Congratulations to Greg Grimminger on this outstanding achievement. We are all incredibly proud of you and so very happy for you!!! ... See MoreSee Less
This year’s MCAA WiMi Conference was held in Cleveland, OH where women in the mechanical industry were encouraged to “Find Your Voice”. This theme echoed throughout the 3 days and was the heart of each speaker’s message as well as highlighted in classroom discussions. Those who attended from WCM were educated on “Navigating the Uncomfortable- Building Skills for Difficult Conversations” and were guided on how to “Communicate with Confidence, Clarity, and Charisma”. There were several Round Table sessions designed for professionals to collaborate, listen, and learn from each other’s successes as well as failures.
West Chester Mechanical believes in sending our folks for continued education all the time and this conference is certainly at the top of the list and even more so when it includes encouraging and recognizing women.

Saturday, May 11th WCM and friends formed multiple foursomes to take part in the annual WCM Golf Outing and Luncheon at the Springfield Country Club. It was a fair-weather day on the fairway and plenty of opportunities were available for players to show off their skills to win prizes for contests involving “Closest to the Pin” Mike Jolles and “Longest Drive” AJ Ehinger. Special thanks to Kevin Rogers for designing the annual golf outing shirts that everyone received.
Each year, the wonderful people who work here take up a collection that is then MATCHED by WCM to make a donation to someone in need or a charity that has affected someone in our WCM Family. This year WCM employee, Mike Feely, was the chosen recipient to aid with unexpected bills after having a child undergo several hospital procedures. They appear to be on a good path to full health but we all need to continue to send thoughts and prayers their way. When one of our own is faced with hardship, we collectively do what we can to ease the burden. That is the message we wish to leave when you work for and are part of this great company. ...
